The aroma is tobacco-forward with earthy, leather, and cedar notes. Secondary notes include nutty, fig, and smoky characteristics with hay undertones. The Perique tobacco contributes fruity and peppery elements, while the Virginia leaf adds dried tobacco notes. Nicotine strength is medium-high.
The blend uses three Virginia tobacco varieties as the base, with the Perique adding the vinegar note common to Louisiana-grown tobacco of this type.
